Something Different For Me

Today I started the No Komplaints website, and I feel really good about it. I’ve been in the digital marketing and business industries for almost a decade now, and this is the first time that I’m letting myself try something different.

Up to this point, most of everything that I’ve ever put on the internet has been polished, carefully scrutinized content – And that’s exhausting.

In the past, I’ve created websites that “look like they should.” You know, your typical corporate-like, cookie-cutter websites that lack any sort of personality or personal flair.

Sure, that can work, and historically, it has for me. I’ve created some amazing, high-performing sites in the past. However, at the end of the day, it always feels like it’s missing something.

When I’m presenting myself in a role that requires professionalism, I can do that. I’m GOOD at that. I’ve done it for SO LONG.

However, a part of me has an urge to be let loose.

It’s no secret that my authenticity often gets put on the back burner due to the regulations I place upon myself. This is especially true when I’m presenting in a public-facing role.

After a while, it’s easy to forget who you really are – And I don’t want that to happen to me.

To combat these feelings, I’ve started No Komplaints.

No Komplaints is going to be messy, raw, and authentic.

It’s going to let me practice being myself.

It’s a place I’ll use to explore my mental health and physical well-being.

With No Komplaints, I’m going to show the things that I like – that I create – that I use.

I’m looking forward to sharing that with you here.
